WELCOME TO SUCCESS READING!
Success Reading provides educational products and services that help parents and educators bring children up to a level of reading smoothly and easily in a very short amount of time. These products and services are designed for use with young children being introduced to reading for the first time as well as with older students that need to improve their reading skill level.
Our original (and very successful) program consisted of two sets of phonics flash cards developed by Success Reading. These cards were sold very successfully worldwide. Many, many testimonials were received regarding the ease and speed with which students were able to learn to read while having fun learning. These were from parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles of little ones, as well as from professional educators working in public and private schools.
Due to a number of factors, including rising production costs, Success Reading has decided to discontinue the printing of our physical flashcards and instead make them available digitally, for a much reduced cost to purchasers. The first set of digital cards available introduce children to the sounds made by each vowel and consonant. Beautiful illustrations are included to help children associate these sounds with real-world examples. These are available on Amazon Kindle for only $3.99! Check them out here: https://amzn.to/36gAbEs. Also available is the perfect companion reader, “Dan and His Pals”, which uses the basic sounds of each letter in a fun and engaging short story. Children are thrilled when they can read their first real book! Dan and His Pals is also available through Amazon Kindle for $3.99. You can find this first reader book here: https://amzn.to/3xudbhq.
(Note: The previous sets of physical cards were $19.95 each for a total of $39.99 plus tax and shipping. Sales tax would depend on where you live and shipping costs depended on your Amazon membership or total purchase on an order.)
Very soon, the next set of cards will be available. These next set of cards will introduce children to “letter teams” (phonograms), and all of the sounds made by specific combinations of letters. (Think “th” or “eigh” as examples of these letter teams.) It has been found that lack of understanding this step is often the reason some children have difficulty with reading and never learn to enjoy reading.
The flexibility of this program allows for easy adaptation to the skill level of any child, yet has enough structure to enable anyone to successfully help a child learn to read. It can be used as a stand-alone program or as a supplement to what is being taught in school.
The program is fun and enjoyable for children. They rapidly learn to read while steadily increasing their skills to the point of reading with effortless fluency. In addition to reading with smooth and easy fluency, students that do this program also improve their reading comprehension.
